    FAQs

How long and how often do we meet?

Individual therapy sessions are 45-60 minutes long, often once per week or as often as you’d like. Depending on the severity of your problem, we may choose to meet more frequently. My focus will be on using your strengths to help you accomplish your goals.

What are your fees? Do you accept insurance?

I believe talking to a therapist is valuable and strive to deliver affordable person-centered mental health care services. In-network with

    • Blue Cross and Blue Shield
    • Aetna
    • Cigna and
    • United Healthcare.

If you are not currently covered by an insurance plan, I will work with you to help ensure you can still receive the support and treatment that you need. Please call me for a complimentary phone session.

Does what we talk about in therapy remain confidential?

Confidentiality is of crucial importance. Successful therapy is based on trust. I want you to feel comfortable bringing up personal and sensitive material you may not feel safe sharing anywhere else. State law and professional ethics require therapists to maintain confidentiality except when there is suspected abuse or neglect of children, adults, and elders or if the therapist has reason to suspect the client is seriously in danger of harming him/herself or has threatened to harm another person.
